Cannot Join game, after forwarding, removing firewalls and updating gamespy.
I really need some help trying to join an online game, I have posted a ticket with GameSpy. But have not gotten a response in 4 days.
I have following the online instructions for port forwarding specifically for my router.
I have version 1.5 rome total war. No expansions. Most updated version.
I have no firewalls. except for the one that Windows 7 starts out with. I disabled that.
I have the lastest version of GameSpyArcade 2.0.5.
I cannot join a game no matter ho many times i try.
Help?

If you have Hamachi installed you will have to uninstall it. That's the only thing I can think of.
3K needs to have an Avatar Campaign!!!

Hamachi has never been installed. No programs being run on my end.

Try turning off your antivirus completely before playing RTW. Some of them like Norton are very prohibitive and dont let you join games/others join your games.

No antivirus is currently installed, it is a FRESH operating system Windows 7 re-install (excuse me, my english isn't that great)

You sure you've got all the right ports? Could someone post them up?

some of the ports overlap, because the first link is for the GSA and RTW and the second is soley for GSA

Your problem is Gayspy itself. Some people have incredible problems with connecting to it. its rare but not unheard of.

That sounds like it can only be a blocked port or firewall to my knowledge - sorry I can't be of any help.

How many network adapters show up, when you right click on your network and show the properties?
