I usually use the name Major Hemorrhoid for fun matches and the special ability to camp with unicorn with no restraints.
Most people use "Prince of Macedon". Anybody use special titles or names to get players interest to joining quickly?![]()

Yes, I felt very uncomfortable joining that game![]()
I think the name matters as i believe most ppl would prefer to join a game not hosted by a clan member if they are playing without there friends, (this is what i have been told) so many times i change my name just to stop the usual 15-20 min wait to actually get a game started.
well now that they are shown, i think some people are put of by the number of stars a player has/and/or if they are in a clan
Maby they don't want to be featured in the next commentary video on Youtube? Just wandering....
yeh often if I'm playing a game with my friends people will join, then seeing we all have 7-9 stars immediately leave. Also has anyone else noticed that if you lose/are losing and you have more stars then your opponent, they tend to get really rude? me and my clanmate hosted a 2v2 on grassy and both brought russia for fun. when a person (not saying name/clan) started winning they began saying we sucked and did we buy our stars on ebay?
this has happened a few times. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have ha that happen to me many times underworld965,the best way to deal with it is not to lose.
But if you have problems with that then simply tell the trash talker that he is the better player.
The guys who do that are mostly noobs
and are so excited that they are going in their pants and can't help themselves. So I just let them have a moment of happiness.

I just use: 'Join Quick!' and surprisingly, majority of the time, people join fairly quickly.
Don't you like choosing an army Eazyrider?
Hi do the stars mean anything and are they important, i have 5 is that any good ?
Pretty much this. To explain more thoroughly; when playing online you can join 'ranked' or 'unranked' matches. When playing a ranked match, winning will grant you 'skill points' and the more points you gain the more stars you will receive (losing will cause you to lose points, of course). And that's it, no special benefits or anything.
Monsieur, there appears to be a problem with your Unicorns.
I find that witty or amusing remarks used as game titles results in a better players joining. I tested the theory today, and to surprising success.
you will find most of the better players dont really care to much for stars - most of the good players know who the better players are and therefore stars are rather meaningless. New players who seem to play well also are discussed amongst the clans admins etc - so they dont go unnoticed. but if you really want to improve your game play games with some clans and talk to them and add them as friends. ive always accepted people as friends if they would like to ask questions or after some tips.
i use the title unicorns allowed. The rest is history.
Never argue with an idiot;
He'll drag you down to his level and beat you by experience.
