Avoid patching?

Is there a way to NOT patch the game? I want to keep the 3rd patch- not go to the fourth - is there any way to do this or will steam always automatically update it?

you have to set the game to not update itself.

steam is supposed to be hassle free for users:

security transactions

''instant'' updates

security for the companies

and a community for people

So its not CA fault that some mod stopped working because of a patch that would improve the game, its not a relevant argument

And obviously this isnt making things easier - isnt hard to manually update a file.

FWIW, checking "do not automatically update" doesn't count for much when Steam changes the setting back for you.

Maybe its possible too delete the new patches manually? Can I delete say, patch 4 & 5?

go to the c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\NTW\data

delete the file with the latest patch.

I still fail to see the need to do that.

Wait for the mod to catch up.

No its just my game hasn't worked since the most recent patch so ill just do that
