32mb video memory is insufficient as CA's specs say 256mb. It would cost you an extra dedicated graphics card and possibly a larger power supply if the case is big enough to accomodate them with adequate cooling.

Present configuration of this computer is a web browser and movie watcher, not for intense 3d gaming.

That is a lowend card for office work. It might pullit up, it might be a waste of money, and your power supply may not be big enough to run it. Does the case have adequate ventilation for both?

He does have a pciex16 slot in it but having an HP case sitting in my closet being parted out, I'm afraid if he did get it to work it will be a heat island.

Your better off building one yourself. For a gaming computer, you can expect to pay into the $1000s. A 400 dollar computer isnt going to play most games very well
If it is because you don't have the money, then I would consider just waiting to buy a better one... Alienware is good starting point to see different kinds of parts but is vastly overpriced and it is better to build it yourself, that way you can avoid using off brand parts.
I am one of those who decided last Christmas instead of getting a crappy laptop to wait until this Christmas to get an amazingly sick nasty desktop. (Which may be bought sooner because I may be able to get it cheaper than I thought)
