    Default Military-like music

If someone can help out a bit here, I'm trying to figure out the drill orders given at the beginning of Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" from the movie "Jarhead". I know the orders go through the branches, or at least I think they're common to Army and Marines but I can't quite make out the orders given other than "Order"... I can hear "column" and "count", but one word I can't tell. Also, if anyone knows any music similar to this - awesome track as an instrumental - feel free to add recommendations

    "Parade, shun!" to begin with.

Wiki tells me the Sergeant gives an "Order Arms!" command, to which the assembled soldiers shout "1-2-3-4", clearly doing their drill movement by numbers.

    Rammstein's "links 2 3 4", has a similar militaristic feel.

What's the other part of the cadence? Especially 0:26 - 0:29? I've heard similar before other cadences and it always gets me, I can never make out what it is.

Thanks for the recommendations so far guys, the A-Team I haven't heard in so many years

I too can't make out what it is. Then again, US Drill Instructors always blur their words really heavily, their "attention" call is "aten-hut" and even that ends up blurred to the point that you can't even make that out. US Soldiers just know what sort of grunts mean what.

Maybe PM a few US military guys (Farnan, Captain Jin, s.rwitt, etc. Check out the military advice thread in the PH&A for a list of military members) and see if they'd recognise the commands.

From C&C, got military bits in it.

("We want war, wake up" is the words heard shouted over the marching soldiers. Something to do with the C&C storyline I think)

Haha that's true! I've seen quite a few times where it really sounded like the instructor was saying "waaah, huh!" and the person's left wondering what was just said. I'll head on over to the thread and post it there.

Yep, The 7th Cavalry and British Grenadiers I liked, the latter is one of my favorites. I'm open to anything that has "military" written all over it.

There's an album called "Arditi" with Prussian Glory, or a slightly different version of it, a version that I absolutely love. It's so militaristic and in a way so very very haunting it's very fitting for walks through places like Gettysburg at night. I have no idea what the video is about not what it says, it's just the only version I could find on youtube.

It's called 'Preussens Gloria', and here is a better quality version . I agree it is a fantastic tune.

Also, some pretty good Ukrainian military marches here:

Random picks from my gaming career. Memorable picks mainly. First was nice, 2nd comical and classic, 3rd is epic.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

BGM from Front Mission 4 Credits... very silly title but I found it nice, the very end is nice, brass finish.

*laughs* Classic Menu music... literally called Menu in the files from Red Baron 3D.

Brilliant Piece from Valkyria Chronciles, should of gotten some kind of Award for it's music. Just the right blend, not too dark nor light hearted. Brass and Strings, and the beat of drums really make this song out to be amazing.

I don't think it's a specific set of orders from the manual of arms. Rather it's just some bits taken from here and there and mashed in to sound cool. This bad ass comercial does the same thing toward the end. You'll hear it, but in the mean time just appreciate how cool his is.

And a personal favorite. They play this when you march out during your boot camp graduation in front of your family and friends. A very proud moment. It's called Semper Fidelis and it's by John Philip Souza who pretty much did all our American military band music. All the good stuff anyways.

    Here's ours :

(Apologies for the filming, I have zero idea who actually filmed it. I also couldn't find the music on it's own, partly due to not knowing the proper name of the tune.)

That's an awesome commercial, I love the Marine commercials. I like the Army ones too, but mainly because the Army theme is kick-ass, lol.

I think we've talked about this before Captain, but I don't really like American marches. However, I've started liking this lately:
