Default RS II units in Medieval II engine

I know that is posible to take units from Rome Total War and add them in Medieval II,battles will be more realist +blood detail from TA,very nice without making a new game.

Numeronians are made in RTW engine.

We know that is possible, but not sure that weŽll do it. Only Tone can give an answer, because he created all RS2 models.

But idea,I think that RTW engine is little bit old,now I play RS 1.6a the best RTW mode but I wont to see blood and realist battles,I play with greek cities have changed all unit description, made royal guard-agema hipospisas one of the best units in game-phalanx + not have second weapon but still my ancestors-romans are too strong, dacians are too my relatives but how can be that dii wariors in greek full arrmor have defence 6 and not 15,Medieval II engine is right place for yours excelent units.

+ their is a lot more work to port RS 2 to MTW2.
Porting the units would be one of the easiest tasks.

How realistic is it to fight battles in medieval cities?
Nobody has as far as I know be able to reskin MTW2's cities and that's a major bummer.
Also the stats has absolutely nothing to do with RTW or MTW2. It's just that RS 1 was made that way and there wasn't that much effort (compared to RS 2 that is) put into stat balance.

You are right about cities and castles that can't be reschined but Medival II cities will be prety well, medieval castles have not place in RTW based game but cities are good enought, battles in fild will be excelent-King Kong have made prety well to work spearmen like phalangites.

The team has spent years balancing and reworking RS2 based on the RTW engine; porting to M2 would be hugely counter-productive.

The dumbest thing CA had ever made is making cities and castles ''hard coded'', the deprived all the fan from the privileges of moding.
and I agree with apple it's silly to play with ancient Rome or dacia or whatever ancient nations in M2tw engine which was only made for medieval era

RTW is awsome already , the game is deep in the pc hit list with a hard 9.1,and if u count RSII in it its a 10+, that little M2TW engine dream just asking for impossible anyway.

i like it the way it is now.
