EB CTD

I have EB 1.2 and when ever i get to 266 b.c. i get a CTD. Please help.

XSamatan: I checked the frequent bugs link you supplied and I think my problem isn't covered. My error is generally upon a battle loading. Other than the autosave, I'm not saving before a battle. This CTD seems to happen most when there are two seperate armies attacking; it may be my imagination, but it seems to happen more often when I right click on the opposing army to see what they consist of.

Right now, the only workaround I've found is to retreat or autoresolve (with generally poor results ). Interestingly, sometimes I can reload and the CTD won't happen.

I know that's less than concise, but any help or advice, I'd appreciate. Oh, and I'm using 1.2.

Are all fixes for 1.2 applied? You can get them from the link in my signature.

Did you alter any files by your own or are sub-mods installed? You should run the Installation validation in any case so we can see if your installation is corrupted.

Hmm, I seemed to have missed the giant 1.2 fixes in your signature! This seems to have done the trick, and I thank you for your help!

Ok, in the linked thread there are some hints on how to get across end-turn CTD's. Did you try them all? If you want you can also upload your recent save-game so I can check it on my build. In this case I need informations about used exe and installed sub-mods.
