    100% right now.
Granted there's only 15 reviews up yet but I've seen people claiming it to be the best sci-fi since the Matrix. My expectations are super high. Plus I love the whole lucid dreaming mind trip theme and Nolan is an amazing director.

Seems Leo's starting his acting career all over again I really liked his acting in Shutter Island.

This movie has real potential! The acting crew looks awesome too. We'll see!

He totally rebooted his career years ago to get over the cheesy romance leg. Five words: Catch Me If You Can.
One thing is for certain: the more profoundly baffled you have been in your life, the more open your mind becomes to new ideas.

I'm really looking forward to this movie. A very good cast, hope it doesn't disappoint like other movies with sensational hype like Avatar.

Even if the story and direction sucked, that would still be one hell of a cast.

There's no way the direction will suck, it's Nolan we're talking about here.

Hehe, all she managed to say is that she's too dumb for the movie.

I said "even if", the combo of that cast with a guy like Nolan can hardly fail.

DiCaprio has always been a pretty good actor; just watch The Basketball Diaries and What's eating Gilbert Grape. But the last decade he's been in practically every single one of my favourite movies, and is probably one of my top ten actors now.

If only he'd lose his baby-face...

Not so much hype but high expectations, a lot of people are going in expecting to be blown away, myself included.

Eh. It looks so absurdly hyped-up that I'm tempted to just ignore it when it comes out.
Partly because I don't exactly like Nolan's non-Batman related works. They're terribly confusing, convoluted, and surreal. Which is fine when you're David Lynch; but Nolan needs to get back on the right path- the Batman path.

What about the Prestige? It wasnt as confusing as Memento. Anyway, from early reviews it does seem it's going to be pretty complex.

I'm convinced a studio just gave Christopher Nolan carte blanche to do anything he wanted. Because there's no way some studio exec read this script and then said: “Sure, take my money and go make this movie." It's so dense, so layered, such a hard sell that it must be a marketing nightmare.

It was okay. Still not as good as either Batman movie.

Most because it didn't have Batman in it.

Memento is probably one of the greatest examples of how altering plot structures work better than standard plot structures in terms of putting the audience into the feet of protagonists. I want a film to outsmart me, not vice-versa. A film that makes you interested is one you can watch over and over again and Nolan has an exceptional talent for making films with very high rewatchability.

And no, Nolan does not need to get stuck in the mainstream blockbuster sphere, it would ruin his career.

A friend sat in on a pre-screening and pretty much said that it gives exactly what you are looking for. He said it was a very smart movie and, as usual with Nolan, very well made. His concern was actually that it might be too smart and drive some audiences away, but he wouldn't expand on this since he didn't want to give anything away. I am really looking forward to seeing this movie. Looks like its going to be a breath of fresh air after recent crop of adventure movies that have been out this year.

There's a thread on IMNDB collecting all the available reviews on the net.

60 so far, 59 positive and with very high ratings.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/.../165472720?p=1

    Quote from the negative one.

While most movies turning up at the plexes these days insult viewer IQs by dumbing themselves down to appeal to some imagined lowest audience common denominator, the opposite holds true for Inception. That is, a what's on your mind invasive sci-fi noir operating at a level so above and beyond what may be deemed viewer comprehension in determined convoluted complexity in the extreme, that head scratchers are likely to abound in the audience.

So is Inception accessible enough to plant the idea of an entertaining experience in viewer minds? In your dreams.

Her review makes me want to see it more. When I hear that a movie might be too smart for the general audience, I am even more intrigued. I want a movie to keep me thinking and not pound the plot into my brain.

And uh...The Sorcerer's Apprentice stars Nicolas Cage. That automatically means it will be good.

Oh, and because my friends and I are obsessed with the Inception noise...

I'm excited to see this movie. Dicaprio is an amazing actor and this looks to be yet another great (hopefully) movie with him in it.
