So after exhausting all the fix options for getting MTW to work on my laptop with an intel 965 chipset I decided to install it on my parents desktop.

After intstalling it to a new folder I made called MTW I did the button fix and it worked on their computer. As I was playing a campagin wishing I could get this game to work on my laptop I got an idea. I dragged the entire install folder to a 4gb flash drive and then then put it on my laptop. Sure enough somehow it works. DOnt ask me why beacuse I have no idea mabye someone more tech savy can anwser that question.

Im just saying if youve run out of options try this.
1. Install MTW to a different computers desktop
2 do the button fix
3.transfer it to a flash drive
4. put it on the computer you want it to work on.

Hope this helps somebody its sure made my week.
