    Default rocket cavalry....

This unit should be removed or completely nerfed in my opinion. the rockets are deadly accurate and fire like a machine gun, massacring all in their path. rockets are very very very INeffective back then. they were much better used to scare people than do actual damage. half of the time the guys trying to fire the rockets should die from a misfire.

The rockets of this period were deadly, accurate, and fired like a machine gun. I made this balanced by giving them very little ammo.

aren't the rockets for cavalry handheld? I would think it not being fixed artillery would make it extremely inaccurate.

Rockets were not inaccurate nor undeadly, during that era rockets were well developed such as attaching fuse bomb, multistage rockets, poison gas/powder and explosives. (J.needham, gunpowder epic for different type of gunpowder weapons) of course you have to take into consideration of wind and other factors. Think about it is an arrow with an explosive that propel it together with fins to stablize the flight. It wasnt surprising it was more accurate that an average gun at that era as shown in the mythbuster video.

Handheld rocket launchers were common in the ming army as it was deemed more flexible, this includes cavalry units as well as infantry. Rockets were fired off bows to give it an extra punch and range (this was used during the Sung era as there was no rocket launcher at the time). Armies on the northern ming border were heavily armed with rockets because of the flatlands suitable for rocket launchers. The ratio was somewhat like 5 rocket to 1 man during the 1560s onwards.

Misfire was a lot more common when using guns and cannons at that era.
