Changing a faction from Barbarian to western

Hello everybody,

After a playing medieval 2 and empires i have come back to my favourite RTW XGM.

But with the latest version or since 5.5 the thacians are barbarian faction. I want to change them to a 'western' factions.

Could anyone offer any instructions on how I would go about this.

i know there is a file in the xgm data, i'll trace it for you.

EDIT: found it. wasn't hard. xgm/Data/descr_cultures and then scroll down to thrace

dont you have to change their culture building too?
their current building increases barbaric immigration, not western civilized

Dime, how do the Roman and Greek cultures in the game differ from each other?

A lot of the Roman and Greek UI stuff is shared, but there are some differences in the way that cities look, pre-battle speeches, unit speech, building descriptions, and so on.

like the romans having dark grey walls and greek withe ones?
