Installed the all in one version, still fails at turn 54.

Hey guys, just before I state my problem in detail, I absolutely LOVE this mod. I'm a massive fan of the World of Warhammer, I love it's dark and gritty-ness, it's rich lore and just how it totally sums up my kind of medieval fantasy world.

So I was bowled over when I saw how brilliant this mod was! But I've been struggling with this really annoying problem with the game crashing at turn 54, or atleast when it's on turn 54 and I start the next turn.

I downloaded the all in one version from http://www.gameupdates.org/details.php?id=3991 which at first I was really pleased about, it seemed to work next to perfectly ( with the occasional crash ), but when it got to ending turn 54, it crashed after Chaos undivided finish their turn. At first I thought this was just another random crash, but no. It crashes every time.

Since then I've reinstalled it loads of times in loads of different ways with lots of different versions. None of the ones I tried seem to work as good as this all in one version.

Now I'm aware that this crash on turn 54 was an issue that was apparently fixed in the 1.02 hotfix, which I assumed the all in one had. I can't see that anyone else is having this problem, but it still is a problem for me!

Can anyone figure this out for me please?

Many people have repetitious CTDs. Current verion 1.03.1 isn't stable. There is a lot information about it in bug reports section. Try to start new campaign or wait for 1.0.4 which should be more stable.

Yeah, the torrent I made is only as stable as the mod itself. If you really want a CTD free campaign, try the Sandbox campaign in my Real Warhammer mod.

Okay, well I started a new campaign with these edited script a guy called Scorpian made for himself to move the events that made the crash to the end, so he could play the full campaign, no luck with me though.

Anyway, so is this Real Warhammer just the Call of Warhammer but with out the story? Does it have all the same maps and factions and things?

Also, it says on the mods page to overide the teutonic folder. I'm guessing that is the latest version of Call of Warhammer?

And I see that you've "Fixed" diplomacy... Does that mean the sworn forces of good and evil might ally with each other? Because I don't want to see chaos allying with the empire. If so is there a way I can keep that aspect?

No, my Real Warhammer mod has everything the main mod does. All it does is add, not take away.

In the "data/world/maps/campaign" folder, just copy the "descr_strat.txt" from the "imperial_campaign" folder to the "custom/open_campaign".
