Need help!!

Hi i m new

But anyway. I installed the SPQR mod and it kept crashing so i decided to unistall it, but i couldnt find the unistaller. So i uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled it. i also deleted the files that stayed in the createbly assembly folder after the unistallation. Now the problem is that i cant play any of the imperial campaings. the game crashes when i try to play with any of the playable factions. So can somebody help? I haven't tried the custom battles and the prologue, but i don't think they work either

First of all welcome to the forum.

If you are using Vista or 7 and have installed to the standard folder (c:\program files (x86)) then traces of the game will be in the 'virtual store' or 'appdata' area. THis is done as Windows 'protects' that folder. To find the start of the folder path run %appdata% and follow the paths. You may need to change your folder options to 'show hidden files and folders' to see that.

One thing you should do is to keep your original RTW install clean and simply copy the entire 'Rome - Total War' folder to a new folder at the same level and install the mod over the copy. If you don't want to play the mod any more you can simply delete the new folder.
