Default England and France in America (Kingdoms)

Hi all,I could not find an adjustment of the campaign, which would be playable these two fractions. So I decided that this edit myself. But I came across a problem. I modified the file descr_start and the city "Yamacraws" I add to France (on the north), and the city "Trujillo" I add to England (on the south), I have added units to the city.I started to load the game and when I go into the game so I heard noises and errors when I had to "enter" me back to windovs.Rebel units have been in those cities I've deleted, so there would be a mistake not.Could someone tell me what do I have to adjust to me was?I edit the files so I can make a playable factions factions that can not play.

    my adjusting:

sorry for my englis - is not very good

P.S. to admin - sorry I did not know in which topic to write.

    thanks Nitro

OK it's bit tough to understand but i think i get it what u are trying say and achieve here.
You made some changes and you want to revert them now right.

First of all england and france are non playable factions so you need to a lot more than descr_strat editing to make them playable.

Now as you stated u want revert the changes plz tell us what are the files to fiddled with other than descr_strat.txt?
If u only messed up your descr_strat.txt file than u need to replace it with the original file.
Now I'm pretty sure u forgot to make a backup of the file (always remember to back up files first).
But no worries insert the kingdoms expansion disk and go under the amreicas folder called main
now to go to this path
    americas\main\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
Here you will find the original file and then simply copy the file from the disk and replace the messed up descr_strat.txt file on ur hard drive.
    Hope this helps u bro.

Has anybody noticed that there are no family characters in those factions? (Which means you loose automatically at start and get thrown back to the menu) Either they get added or the settlements get removed from the faction slots.

I think, descr_strat should be sufficient:

    • Move them from unplayable to playable in the top of the file
    • give them one settlement (minimum) each
    • don't forget to remove the original rebel garrison from these settlements
    • you should at least add two family members each (one leader, one heir), make sure both are related by a proper family tree
    • remove the "dead"-entires

    That should do.

Yeah but a few more files are still necessary I'm not saying that without them they cause a CTD but like descr_faction_movies.xml file, descr_win_conditions.txt as it only has a condition of conquering 50 regions for france and england without the outlive faction entry.
You have to edit campaign_script.txt to remove the France arrival event. Also the descr_sounds_music_types.txt file otherwise in regions he won't hear music when playing as france and england.
    And stuff like that.

That's fine tuning and not necessary to play them.
