    Default Hordes not doing anything

I am currently experimenting with horde factions with the goal of making all factions horde to some extent. ATM i've only set the Turks and the Crusader states (Stainless Steel RC/RR) to horde and the Crusader states were the first to do so but now they just hang around outside Giza making no attempt to start a ne kingdom, they even ignored Crusade against Jerusalem . I'm playing on a a short campaign which doesn't give any factions any specific settlements to go after and was wondering if a Horde faction needs a target to aim for?

Looks so. You need to define a horde_target in descr_regions.txt I would say.

    cheers

does horde_target mean that all hordes will go after it, or do you make it faction specific?

The settlement doesn't becomes faction specific but now every horde faction will run for it to capture it. But on a personal scale i have found out that if the character for the horde faction pops up in one corner of the map and the target settlement is on the other corner they don't seem to cope up well.
So to speed things up you should use the command reposition character and then reposition the character near 4-5 tiles of the settlement. This makes an almost certainty that the settlement would be stormed by him without using any siege scripts.
    Hope this helps u bro.

There has been a lengthy post\thread covering horde behavior, but i can't remember where. One of the things mentioned was the distance from the spawn to the horde_target settlement.
