When posting a reply or thread, look for the little paperclip icon, click it and choose the file you want to upload. Once uploaded the file is now attached to the post as a thumbnail.

Also its a good idea to convert images to a less space greedy Format, like J-peg before you upload.

If you want to Insert the image, so it actually renders on the page, click the Insert image icon and type in the address of where the image is located.

There are more efficient ways to do it, but i'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.

I have a similar question. I am attempting to view screenshots, but whenever I go to the view screenshots in the 'tgas' file, a black screen appears as the photo. Any thoughts? Anyone?

    I use Irfan View btw.

    Thanks.

I have no idea how to configure Irfan to suit your needs as i have never used it.

If you simply want to view them images properly, right click an image in Tgas folder and select Open with, then select Windows picture and Fax viewer, before clicking ok, check the box that says "always use this program to open this type of file.

    See if that helps.

I tried that. When I did, it came up with 'no preview available', which tells me that there is something wrong with the actual screenshot taking.
    Thanks for you help.

Do you use the Print Screen key on your keyboard for image capture, or a 3rd party application ?

I heard a long time ago the cause of the black images but unfortunately I've forgotten the reason.....

    Anyway, the two methods that I used to take screen shots in-game are;

    1) Fraps (other software such as Howie's Screen Capture or Xfire can also be used)
    2) Use the CTRL+ALT+PrintScreen to put the screen onto the clipboard - then paste it into Paint or some other program

In order to put an image into a post I think the best way is to find a 'host' for the images. I use both photobucket (www.photobucket.com) and imageshack (www.imageshack.us). There are other hosters around - I think 'tinypic' is also used here. I prefer to use photobucket as it allows images to be stored in various albums (and sub-albums) but it does have the limitation on how large the images can be.

Both photobucket and imageshack have links which can be copied and pasted into a post. In order to show the image just put it between 'spoiler tags (as shown below - but remove the asterisk)

    [*spoiler]
    the link from the host
    [*/spoiler]

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

You can always attach a picture to the post but there is a limited amount of space available for attachments. If for some reason you need to upload a save game you may find that your quota has been reached and you need to go through and delete some old attachments.
