PA's and their troublesome charge

Sorry to start a new topic just for this but I've spent ages on the search engine and it's not giving me what I need.

Could someone point me in the right direction for the fix for ERE's PA unit...I'm sick of them losing so many men to weaker units!! Is the fix save-game compatible?

@Coeur de Lion - can you check this out and let know how this solution with swapping attacks works?
I've never tried it as I don't like messing around in files and I hardly play ERE, but recently discovered some other units suffer from the same problem...might need to apply it as well...
