Installation code issue (I think)
I installation issue. This is probably the umpteenth time I have re-installed Rome but for some reason it is saying I do not have permission. Only thing I can think of that is causing this is the fact that it is not asking for the installation code before installing. Despite this it still appears to install correctly.
Any tips?
On a side note, what would folk say is the best pre-roman, or more specifically, good Greek mod out there? I seem to be drifting to the Aristeria (apologies for spelling mistakes).
Thanks.

What Windows version are you using? What Rome version are trying to install-original 3cd set, Gold or Eras?

I am on Vista (¬_¬) and I have tried with both the original 3-cd and the white label version. Both used to work totally fine.

Being Vista,
Are you logged in as administrator?
Do you have the UAC enabled or disabled?
Installing in the default location or another loaction?
When you uninstalled did you delte both Rome Total War folders?
Did you run a registry cleaner after the deletions?
Have you tried making a new admin account and logging in on it?
Do you have admin rights to the drive you are trying to install on?

Yeah, I've tried pretty much all of those things. I decided to get in contact with my virus protection. It is probably time I got round to fixing it.
