What is the best Elf Faction in TATW?

I think the Silven Elves because they're archers are highly skilled and can easily be more victorious in battles.

I think too that SE, is the best elf faction. Easy to win with their heavy archers firing on enemy and heavy infrantry protecting them . But High Elves got sea ports and no enemies near ...

Well it depends...I prefer the way HE look like (more impressive and majestic) but they have too few units... SE are IMO not as-good-looking as the HE but they also rock... military I will say they are quite the same... Well, if I have to...Let's vote HE !!!

Damn, i cant vote yet, 14 post more and after that SE gots +1. Second reason to vote SE is that i played my very first campaing in TATW with it .

I did the High Elves first then the Silven Elves. I found the SE were easyier to play with. Like the HE were so far away from the action, which is good. But the SE you could attack mordor so easily.

HE = best cavalry and units but boring starting position.

SE = Good archers and interesting starting position

HE have more secure starting positions,ports and really good cavalry and heavy units
SE have interesting starting positions surrounded by enemies but really awesome heavy units with archers

High Elves, true, not as good in archery as SE, but more than enough to kill any unit you want with their eldar archers, in infantry they are very good as well, and have great cavalary (general also get mounted, wich means devastating charges)

High Elves are strongest faction in game,arcers are wonderful,infantry will be the best in 2.0 because of Eregion Smiths,Elven Nobles and Eldar Lancers are best heavy cavalry in game.Eldar Lancers are available after 4 turns and after conquering of Silvan Elves land+Isengard they have best position.With them I won long campaign at very hard in 39 turns without loosing a battle or general(and without cheats).All units are splendid.Who can say that have done the same with other faction?

Sorry, I've only tried OOTM at the moment , but I would probably pick High Elves..they seem to put up a better fight most of the time.

High elves are stronger. Their archers are almost as good, and their heavy cavalry seals the deal.

I like to play with either kind of elves cuz their numbers are small and therefore i can control them more effectively, but i prefer HE cuz they have excellent cavalry and more interesting history ( Feanor rules ).
