Default Rams a bit too vulnerable to fire?

Stone walls and rams. Whether I am attacking or defending if rams are used they always but always catch fire. So I was wondering, is there a way to increase their resistance to flame arrows? It would be nice for a change to have to fight for control of the gateway.

Also another question, has anyone seen the AI attempt to sap stone walls?

    I think that's hard coded.

And I don't think so. Although, I do remember trying to set fire to an enemy sappoint, but perhaps I've dreamed that.

There was a thread a while ago on The Guild that talked about disabling the turrets on the stone walls. That's about the only thing I can think of that would stop rams from catching on fire so easily, but probably not exactly what you're looking for.

I imagine that this is fairly realistic. You should always go in with multiple rams at the same time.

Well my issue is mostly that the AI rams fail all the time more than mine.
