Sorry for my absence. I shall explain why it was. I started getting a BSOD whenever I tried to run programs and this had spread to nearly everything including internet browsers half the time the desktop wouldn't even show up and inevitably the entire thing just crashed. It took me a long time to figure out why it was but I eventually got that it must be a faulty graphics card so I switched the comp to run on the internal graphics card in the BIOS which took me an age to figure out. And now that I've finally got a replacement Graphics card I can finally report back in for more beta testing if i'm still required.
I hate computers sometimes
