    The error is a result of the settings for the projectile not allowing the range specified.

    Never had reason to mess with it personally.

    But descr_projectiles.txt is where the solution lies.

    but i never touched that or messed with any of the arrow settings in any file

    Or reduce the range assigned to the weapon.

    234 will be the maximum range for that projectile, if you exceed it, the error will always give the maximum, no matter if you have given it a range of 250, 500 or 10000.

    To fix this you can either give it a range =<234 or change some settings in descr_projectile. So go into this file and go to the arrow entry. Then, look at the velocity line and increase both of these values, I tend to increase them by the same percentage, i.e if I increase one from 24 to 30 (25% increase), I increase the other by the same percentage, i.e. 48 to 60 (25% increase). Save, and try again. If you get the error again, increase some more until it stops.

    you guys are kinda missing the point ..... i never changed them. the number 234 doesnt even exist in my EDU.......i never touched them at all...

    Give us the rest of the details. What modding did you do to cause this error?

    Okay, but try my solution anyway, it should still work, but yes, as Taiji said, we need more info, what were you doing immediately before the error occurred?

    Yes that's the point, the unit in question has a value greater than 234 for its range, and so its giving you this error.
