I'd just like to see how many people can guess who said the following quotes, just for fun:

President Clinton offered his assessment in February 1998. Gore made his observations the following December, defending the military strikes Clinton had ordered against Iraq. These were not off-the-cuff remarks but vetted statements by the two highest officials of the United States.

Clinton and Gore were not alone in their conviction that Saddam had WMDs. France thought so, too, as did Israel, China, Russia, Britain, the United Nations, the CIA and the entire national security team of the Democratic administration. The Germans believed Saddam would have a nuclear weapon within 36 months.

But they don’t care. In their America, partisanship begins at the water’s edge.

You are correct in your statement about the actions of the Dems. They can't get it through their heads that we are at war, and when we are at war you don't go on the media daily saying how the war is wrong. Imagine if in WWII the Republicans would be on the daily news saying how the war in Europe and Japan is unjustified and millions of civilians are dying because of it. Saying how the Vichy Government didn't want our help and our goal was to conquer France. After the war, and in private is where those type of comments belong. Our soldiers fight daily, then turn on the news and see how bad the media reports the war is, and how unjustified it is according to Howard Dean and compatriats.

That's the only conclusion that can be drawn. Had his regime not faked the presence of WMDs ... a conclusion that has been drawn by every intelligence agency in the world ... and had he cooperated with the UN inspection regime as he was supposed to do, Iraq would never have been invaded.

Pac, I don't expect you to believe the above. But take a shot at openmindedness a little bit, will you? It can't hurt to change your mind when presented with contrary evidence. I've done it before, and I'm one of those evil neoconservatives ...
