Only RTW Vanilla will start

Ok well i am very very mad. I have tried to install EB like 5 times now. I have a clean install of RTW up to 1.5 everytime i have installed. I have installed in and out of program files, which the installation says i should do. Installed everything to what it should be and yet nothing works. I click EB Play file, and RTW keeps showing up, no matter what i do, how i install it still starts RTW vanilla and not EB. I dont know what else to do but post this up here and maybe get something. Im sorry if this is in the wrong section.

What does it say in the command line for the startup icon? Right click and view properties.

My EB shortcut doesn't work!

• Use the Trivial Script to start EB instead of the start menu shortcut. You need to have installed this as part of EB 1.1.
• Modify the shortcut target. Move the end quote from the end of the line to directly after RomeTW.exe and it should work (goes for both the new shortcuts in 1.2). For instance, instead of "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe -mod:eb -show_err -ne" it should be "C:\My games\RomeEB\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -ne.

You lost me with the .exe thing. I tried doing it both ways and it still makes vanilla run instead of EB. I also tried to start the trivia thing but that didnt work. I am getting quite mad since i have never had this problem before.

Right click on your RomeTW.exe and select "Create new shortcut".
Right click on the new created shortcut and open the settings, edit the target line.
Here you must add: -mod:eb -show_err -ne

If you installed EB the right way (How to install EB), this will solve your problem.

Ok i finally got it to work. Thank god. Only took 10 trys... But now the game is windowed.. I cant seem to fix it, i looked in the options and stuff but did not see anything to uncheck. Is there a way to fix this?
