I can't get this to work, at all.

Hey there forum! It's been awhile since I've posted here but I come back with need of help.

I have been trying to get this mod working for the past day but nothing I do works, I will lay out a step by step direction of what I've been doing...

I have Vista firstly so anything I unpack goes to Programs/Sega/Medieval II/Mods/Teutonic. This is the path I used after I have cleared out the entire Teutonic folder so CoH can take it's place.

Firstly I install 1.01, then I install the sound pack for 1.01, and then finish that patch with the English translation. After that I install the 1.02 into the same directory, then I install the hotfix 1.02 by putting all the files in their respected positions, and then I finish the process by adding the 1.02 English translation.

After I do all this I realize that even though I installed everything correctly I do not have a Warhammer.bat. This is okay I suppose because I can just load my the game from the disc, this is where things begin to go hay-wire. I will see the Call of Warhammer loading screen and then it crashes to the desktop. So I reinstalled and did everything the right way again, now the game crashes and I get a warning box with no message.

I will post the sizes of my downloads in hopes that I have all the file sizes, and to give you guys more to work with.

Well, there is all the information, I am hoping that is enough to get you men of higher intelligence to help me out here, my father and myself would really like to play this and I would like to say lives depend on it...but it doesn't .

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have already updated to 1.5 aswell.

Alright, update, I got a bit more of this to go forward.

Now I can get into the game, however it crashes still. I will go to play a custom battle and I will notice a few things off. First that the countries shields are not there, only the original Teutonic ones remain (or medieval which ever). I will get into the custom battle army selection and I notice that many of the unit cards are missing, and that all I see instead is peasant cards for most of the units.

After selecting an army and an army to battle I click start, it starts the process of loading the battle but then crashes to the desktop, saying "An unexpected error has occurred".

Guess that's a bit more help

Try to download a full 1.1-1.31 instalation in one part from a torrent. You can find linke here:

Delete the teutonic folder and unpack 1.31 directly to mods folder. It should work then.
One more thing. I noticed that if you have a few copies of MTWII (to not install whole MTWII every time, for a few mods etc) you should do it on your main instalation- I don't know why but when I did it on one of copies the mod didn't even start.
