    Default A brief goodbye..

    Dear all,

It has been my pleasure to get to know all those on the forum over the past few years. It has been amazing fun to work with such a dedicated team and equally dedicated (if sometimes a little impatient!) fans.

Unfortunately for me, I am off to the mountains during the time in which we hope the mod will be released. I am not going to tell you when I'll be back...so you won't know when the mod will be released by

The RS community is really something special on TWC. It is a community that supports the mod and supports each other, and I hope you will keep this going.

No doubt I will try to follow the progress of the mod from up in the mountains but it may be hard, so I will see you when I get back.

This is brief, because I have many goodbyes to say, but suffice to say I am honoured to have been part of this community, and look forward to returning sometime in the near future.

    Stay patient!

**RS Dev Team***Reciprocal Repper!* RIP Calvin- you will be missed

I myself have been a member of these forums for quite a while...

Roma Surrectum is possibly the greatest MOD to grace RTW (with the exception of Rome: Total Realism, which the RS Mod IMHO has surpassed in almost every aspect) ever made. The honesty that you portraiy here can only mean that you share the affinity that us hardcore RS fans have, while understanding that progress is limited, imagination itself is only bound by the ambition of those willing to test the limits of what is provided.

While I personally have no MODding experience when it deals with RTS games, I know that the initiative grasped by those on the RS team are indeed like none other anyone has ever seen. I have full confidence that Roma Surrectum 2 will be equal and indeed more than you could have imagined

As a last unnecessary gesture...and perhaps an ultimatum........

ROMA VICTA. The Arising Roman MOD so enthusiasticallty championed here will no doubt set the standard for those who wish to not just improve upon the RTW engine, but to reshape it into something more appropriate to it's capabilities. In conclusion, I say again:

    ROMAAAAAAAAAAAAAA VICTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
"So parents...hold on to your hats...the federal government is gonna give you 400 dollars for every child you have...so if you've got 1,000 kids...you're on freaking easy street. That's where you go, what is the government thinking? I mean wha, what do Congressmans' children eat -- MITES?!? All 400 dollars does is remind me how screwed I am; You'd be better off if you're Congressman just came to your door, and pissed on your foot."

Well that might be the case but how can Maximus shout Roma Victrix? You can't really do a long VIIIIIIICTRIIIIIIIIIIIIX! You see that just does not cut it!

You can, and what's more important is that it is grammatically correct.
Besides, what he shouted was Roma VicTOR. Basically implying that Roma is masculine, which it ain't (hence RomA, not RomUS). Roma Victa on the other hand means "Rome (is) conquered", which isn't positive.

OK then. Roma Victor sounds cooler than Roma Victrix to me though. I know, I know incorrect but cooler. Anyway thanks for clarifying.
