Default Do You Continue Playing After the First Victory?

I'm not talking about the Victory where you conquered the whole map, of course. What I am talking about is the "Normal" Victory.

I do. In fact, I think it's even more fun to play the game after winning; I no longer feel the need to rush through some of my decisions; I could take my time invading territories that I normally wouldn't visit; I feel good managing an Empire that is "eternally at peace" (except for those pesky rebels); and, of course, I like letting some factions live based on my whim.

    But what about you?

Nope, I usually quit before I get the ultimate victory, even though I had it once with Carthage.

Later it's very fun to try playing with not so balanced factions like Spain or Armenia. So the answer would be yes.

    yes because it's fun
and Armenia is a really nice faction to play with.

Just conquer untill you've conquered all of europe! The late-part in the game is almost the most exciting part of the game as you're about to collide with other great factions such as Egypt, the Romans or maybe barbarian scum or pontus idk it's just fun

campaign kept me busy for 2 years. moved to MP in 2006, joined Sith in 2007, Finished training in 2008 and started training new members, and made clan HC in 2010. looking back on the timeline i so regret the two years i wasted on SP. therefore i dont recommend playing too much of it. only fills yer young heads with dumb tactics that will get you killed in MP.

While I agree, this really isn't the place for this.

There's actually a few ways to make your game very fun after your first "victory."

    1. Use the console to spawn 10 full stacks of elite enemies

    2. Edit the regular script so you end up controlling a different faction (one of the factions you have yet to conquer) - this way, you get to fight the huge empire you just created!

    Edit:
Oh wait, I just realized this is RTW vanilla and not Europa Barbarorum... Nevermind then.

I disagree, MP provides a much bigger challenge. I usually win vs the AI but since I've started to play MP I'm constantly losing. Also, the campaign aspect gets incredibly dull for me after a while.

    Just my two cents,

On topic: Wouldn't it be boring, seeing as there aren't any really strong nations left for you to fight?

Yep, my first objective is get rid of the Roman bully's, then i take great pleasure in training elite armies with nice shiny gold chevrons and become the Bully.

I'm not really a bully, in most of my campaigns i never attack anyone, but i love the role playing element when a faction attacks you first, i pretend i'm fighting for my freedom and land in defiance. The victory tastes so much sweeter when i finally crush them.

I usualy continue for some time after the first victory. And about it being boring with no strong nations left to fight, that's the cool part at least for me. I love laughing diabolically as everything the enemy possibly has to throw at me gets swept aside and my forces simply overwhelm entire nations. That's just me though.
