    Ok might be usefull to have a tread like this around.




    I'm looking for a movie which features the Chinese fighting the Dutch on Taiwan in VOC period. I remember seeing an scene of it once but I can't find it or the title of the movie.

    It's a movie about the Chinese general, Koxinga.

    In the same vein, I'm looking for a Chinese movie. It's set in a (fantasy) Medieval setting and has got a lot of elaborate fighting scenes. At the end a prince and his army of gold-aroumred warriors attack the palace of an emperor but get annihilated and the prince is captured iun a courtyard full with flowers. In the end he kills himself whilst he, the emperor and his mother are having thea

    I can't get on youtube cause it's blocked at my house, however, I believe the movie you seek is the Curse of the Golden Flower.


    I could be wrong-- I haven't seen it in a long time but I think that's what you want.
