Icon5 No region borders in map (one color in mini-map)

    Hello,

I've always thought that having one color in the mini-map for the whole empire is much more realistic than having colored borders.

In order to change that, the idea is to make the primary_colour and the secondary_colour the same in descr_sm_factions.txt

Had anyone already worked on that? I tried to simply put the primary color as the second one but the result wasn't very satisfying since a lot factions are now having similar colors.

I am looking for a sub-mod who already fixed the problem, it will save me a lot of time.

Did you do a search first?

Be aware that is for 6.1, I believe. Also, the latest RR/RC patch has included no borders.

if you open up word and look at the text colours you can see the numbers required for each shade- that way you can edit the faction colours exactly to your preference... however the thing with that is that the descr_sm factions usually alters with patches and updates etc, so the time consuming process of selecting colours can go to waste...
