Windows 7 Broken Crescent??

Hi i downloadit bc mod i have windows 7 and i have problem with open it the game

maybe one can help me?

bc_launch will not open (the game will not starting)

You need to start the file as administrator. Right click on bc_launch and choose "Run as Administrator". If it doesn't help, disable User Account Control (in the Control Panel), restart the game and try to run the mod.

i install the bc 1.0 with patch 1.5
i want play first version on windows 7

No, no, no. BC 1.0 is no longer supported. You need to download BC 2.02.

Installation instructions:
1. Install M2TW.
2. Patch it to version 1.03.
(2a. Alternatively, you can install Kingdoms expansion, it will automatically patch your M2TW to version 1.03; after Kingdoms installation you can patch it to 1.05 - but this is not required to play BC)
3. Download BC 2.02 from here.
4. Install it in your M2TW directory.
5. Run the mod and enjoy.

i didit but problem is same

Are you sure you downloaded newest installer? Because I'm quite sure you didn't. There's no "bc_launch.bat" in it anymore, there's "Broken Crescent Total War.exe" instead.

im sure but i think that i have now problem with mtw2.exe

have you all 3 patches for me?

I am also a Windows 7 user, who today downloaded BC 2.0. Everything works fine, except for when I start a battle the game blacks out and a message pops up saying, " Medieval 2 has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit." Someone please tell me how to fix this.

I have Medieval 2 patched to 1.3 as well, and followed all instructions properly. I have had the exact same problem with other mods in the past when starting battles. Is my problem that I should patch BC 2.0 to 2.02?

If you have an english version of M2TW please uninstall BC 2.00, perform a registry clean with CCleaner and then install BC 2.02 from this link. If the problem persists please provide your log file.
