Im not gonna say who I faced but when I faced him during our first match. He started to win at a certain point and started to brag in the form of steam messages. So I used my last cavalry wisely and used cavalry disruption with infantry rushes to turn the tide equally and that's when the match crashed.

Our second match, I used Ottomans and he used France.

He did an unusual but surprising tactic by moving all his cavalry (4 Leger Lancers, 3 Chasseurs) to the left side to the corner of the map beyond my deployment zone. I quickly reformed and brought all my cavalry and quickly surrounded his and it was a slaughter with most of mine intact and after that, he requested us to "restart".

I never talked during our first match and never did during our second. I believe the best way to talk weather you are winning or losing is to be like Team. Hell. Silence is key to winning, in defeat or victory, it shows you have manners by keeping your words silenced.

theres nothing really wrong with talking to your opponent.however there is a problem with bragging, as its unpleasant.
about keeping your words silenced-as long as its positive its ok
when he asked you to restart, you should have said:"sure, after this match"

I told him "Why?" He said, "My plan didn't go as I planned."

I said, "let's continue this match and we'll play some other time for your other plans to supposedly work."

We played it out from there and I just decimated his army with infantry + cavalry combinations.

i read it but failed to understand it. it didn't make much sense. perhaps if you try again less the personal insults the moderators won't delete it.

Perhaps if you learned how to read about manners , then you would understand it.

oh i play a dude today who wanted to pause the game when i caved him on a flank. but it was a 2v2 so even when i paused the game it keeps going. so i withdrew my cav so he could reform and start when he was ready. after about 5 mins of waiting he then started randomly abusing me - which i had no idea what he was talking about as i moved well back so he could get ready again. so then i re-engaged my whole army. a few minutes later i did a tacitcal retreat on my left as i caved his right. soon it was over and he then started to abuse me - calling me a cheater because i had so much of my army left. i guess sometimes some people dont get it - he did ask for a replay but i told him i wouldnt waste my time playing someone who is so disrespectful.

BTW - just so u all know - im not talking about Cu roi in this example

    hahahahahahahaha

I'm sorry? you want me to "learn how to read about manners?" i don't understand what you mean by that. how would reading about manners help me understand your post that the moderators deleted?

I love when people try to take advantage of typing errors lol. It's like, hmm I know what you're talking about, but I'm going to be a smartass and act like I don't. In the end though it's quite retarded, sort of like you're avoiding his response and trying to be funny and turn it against him. But it does fail.

carswell, what was/is his post(s) saying then? that if i had manners i would have understood his post? if you read his initial post, whether i had manners or not (and i do) was irrelevant towards understanding what he wrote, as it didn't make logical sense. so i assume he doesn't mean that i need manners to understand his post. i can't figure out what he means.

no i don't try to take advantage of typing errors. i make my own all the time, and i consider it juvenile for a poster to focus on that while willingly ignoring the larger point. the problem is i haven't figured out what point main's larger theme is, so i think he needs to clean up his grammer, not because i'm a grammer nazi, but because i very litterally do not understand what he is trying to communicate to me.

perhaps you can speak for point man and tell me what he means since you seem to be pretty articulate.

Perhaps you need to get a microphone then and talk to me through steam. That will solve everything and if you do talk to me through steam, our issues, and conflicts will end but, if you don't then they will continue.

Resolve this as mature people with our voices, not our typed words, weather our words make sense or not.

indeed, an in person discussion would be beneficial. next time you see me on steam feel free to send me a voice chat invite.

i also have ventrilo since steam often doesn't work.
