In my current campaign, i took northern Italy, and it says i have a Barbarian Economic and Cultural building, of which i cant destroy. And all the little villages are barbarian, not roman. How do you get that to Roman?

You can't. That's to represent the indigenous culture present there, and there's no way to make a building in a settlement affect the way the villages look, as they're just reskinned resources that we're not using... though, since building Mines actually changes the way the resource looks on the strategy map, perhaps there IS a way of doing it...? Tone? Is that possible?

No, for those you can't change them.

even if you occupy it or like 100 years?
nopethat doesn't effect them. for example: If you occupied a region in Vanilla, for example Rome, the purple dye resource wouldn't change shape either would it? well, there you have you answer

no, i know - i was just wondering if the coding could be fiddled to allow for the same thing that happens with mines (i.e. completing a structure in the settlement changing the resource appearance on the strat map) to happen with our "village" resources...

Mines and farms are hardcoded to change on the strat map....nothing else. I've actually tried to figure out how to do it, but there is no way.
