Mod for live combat in Total War?

Hello,

Has nobody dreamed of being able to fight in a battle just like in Call of Duty, first-person (or do we say third-person?) view? One could actually be part of a battle instead of just watching his soldiers...

Tactically that could be interesting, especially if you play a hero (Achilles)...In terms of strateggy,well useless ok.


Anyway it would be a great immersive experience..Morrowind like...Ah....Just imagine: being able to slash your oppenent with a double-handed sword, or to fire arrows or ride a battle hors...(or elephant)..Or to be part of a hoplite formation (just like in the movie "300")..(I wonder if it's possible to do some slow-motion in Total War battles??)

Wouldn't this be a great experience?

Not that I want to be a part of a Medieval or Napoleonic battle in real :-)...

Survival time must be in minutes (or seconds) on the battlefield...Bit more secure than on the highway (30 seconds expected survival time for a man on a highway...never get out of your car on the highway unless in real danger!)

It is impossible, your better off playing mount and blade and its mods.

Yup, impossible on the Total War engine. If you want that, your best bet is games like God of War and Spartan: Total Warrior.
