update issue, please help somebody! ='(

Hello everybody...im new to this forum, to be honest im only new because i have an issue with the game hehe. Just purchased the game of an ebay store, original copy, sealed. put in both dvd's ran the auto installer, went through the steam business..installed and i thought i was ready to play only to find that i have to download a 22GB update!!! i don't think the game is even 22gb is it ? have i perhaps done something wrong with the installation?

Has anybody heard of this happening before? i can't justify paying $40 for a new game then having to spend my whole monthly bandwith limit to download an update for it. i only get 25gb of usage a month!

if there is someone that has a solution to this i will appreciate their help very much. thank you!

ok..i think i fixed it. just done a uninstall then re-install. only showing as a small 10min update now. should be ok now.
