How to demolish buildings?

For some reason I can't demolish any buildings. I go into the settlement options. Click on the building options. But it says i can't destroy any building and that goes into any of the settlements.
can anybody help?

Let it rebel, and attack it with an army of onagers? That would do the trick.

Are you trying to destroy core buildings? Those can't be demolished.

Thanks Boristas! Core Cuildings you mean religious buildings, Barracks, Walls, that sort of thing? I know it shows a demolish option when you click on the building details, but all of them are turn off. I will see if i can read on the list of core buildings and non core buildings, thanks!

I think you can get rid of everything but walls, mines, governer's residence, farms and roads. In fact I'm certain that's the case. Maybe you've not got "manage all settlements" turned on?

There's a file (descr_buildings, if I'm not mistaken...I haven't done any modding in months) that lists the buildings, and their availability for destruction. Maybe something got messed up and switched them all? Turtle Hammer is right, though. Anything that isn't a wall, mine, palace, farm, or road can be destroyed.
