Demolishing Buildings Problem

When I get in the demlished option in the buildings options. All of the buildings cannot be destroyd.
Is there a way of doing this, since it is a little frustrating.

Do you mean that none of them can be demolished, or just some? There are certain building types that can be destroyed because it would cause problems with the game (government buildings, colony buildings, and some special buildings that are used by scripts).
