Latest DLC + Patch Improve Performance?

I just started playing NTW again, after a break, once the new DLC came out yesterday. I just started playing and notice a HUGE performance increase on the campaign map. I use spacebar to speed up movement, and I notice armies are moving around much more smoothly, and general performance seems to have increased a lot.

Anyone notice this?

I'm loving it, and wonder if it's just the Spanish campaign with this, or if it's the same across the whole game now because of the patch?

Me too. its smooth as hell now, I like it, battles are smoother although, they were smooth anyway.

Yes I definitely felt a difference...

Seems the battles and campaign now run 10-20% smoother and faster!

Definitely like the way the units move now. And I agree, everything was very smooth before, but even better now!!

Didn't feel it much, but as I did play with 3 AI, path-finding are much faster now.

But First loading screen takes a long time for me.

Campaign map runs much more fluidly, AI in battles is better, and AI on the campaign map is HEAPS better - Im playing as France and the British sailed a stack into the mediteranean and took over Malta from me!

Diplomacy also seems to be working heaps better - other factions make more reasonable responses to my advances and sue for peace with me when they're getting spanked.

Well I cant test until my bandwidth is reset but I hope my campaign map now doesn't studder and lets me watch the movies. (Main loading movies are fine, only the ones shown in the campaign are not -- like the gentlemen duels and the fireworks display and Napoleons victory scenes)

Battles much faster and smoother enough for even more higher settings!!!!

Aye noticed the improvement myself, with recently installing windows 7 i've got around a 30% increase in speed
much better on the campaign map and the battles feel more fluid, less jerk-o-vision.

I havent noticed much fps gain in battles but are you guys sure your not just noticing more performance on the peninsular campaign? Its smaller and only has 3 factions afterall. I noticed this myself but ive only played the peninsular campaign since the patch + dlc came out.
