    How are we not talking about this? (My guess is burn out) Lehey and Spector are talking about sub cmmty meetings as I type.

    Personally, I think he's an obvious choice for the President. It's in line with what he promised in both campaigns. The thing I cannot figure out, is why didn't he nominate Alito in the first place. Is it so he can say "Hey, I put a woman up for O'Conners spot, but you all shot her down." ?

    --EDIT: Yep, it's Supreme Court fatigue...like I thought. Nobody want's to touch this with a 10 foot pole.

    --EDIT: Wow, this is actually becoming a case study. Nobody at all wants to touch this subject?
