Instead of the Peninsular Campaign......

They could have added a Grand Campaign where you could conquer regions in the continents North/Central America and India. Like another version of the Empire Total War Campaign map. Would be much more fun conquering the world in Napoleon Total War then Empire Total War tbh!

They only made Europe playable because Napoleon never fought in America or India, nor did his troops fight there.

I understand that, just thought a Grand Campaign aspect to Napoleon TW would make it even better.

Actually there was fighting in India, the Caribbean (ex. the British attack on Spanish held San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1797 and the fighting over St. Lucia, Martinique, etc), and in southern Africa (between the British and the Dutch) during the Napoleonic Wars.

Wasnt the War of 1812 technically part of the Napoleonic Wars even if the French didn't directly fight on American soil?

The game isn't Napoleonic: Total War it's Napoleon: Total War, it revolves around Napoleon not the Napoleonic period in general.

yes, but the peninsular campaign covers the time eriod where napoleon was not in Spain. I don't think CA do things to be historically accrate or fixed to a title. If they could guarentee money then they could release a DLC. Except of course, they still want you to buy empire, and copies of empire are still being sold, so they don't want to make that obsolete.

That's true, but then again Napoleon never really fought in the Spanish Peninsula either, just his generals and troops did. It occupies only a small, though significant part of Napoleon's individual story.

Let's also not forget that the purpose of Napoleon's invasion of Egypt was to threaten and attack British Possesions in India.

They should remake ETW with the NTW engine.
