    Default Great music

I kind of posted before to this effect. I want to say that I really like the musical choices you guys have gone with for this mod. I guess you have a few different artists working for you, and I applaud them all with the possible exception of the overproduced, sweeping, "Gladiator" or LOTR style music that's very similar to the normal RTW music.

The songs with the celtic horns are just awesome.

And the one song, with the lone horn playing a kind of lonely dirge, literally made me remember a deceased family member and start to cry.

I concur - orchestral symphonic music takes a lot of skill to compose, which most modern composers just don't possess. Variations of it have been done to death in Hollywood movies and in videogames. Usually with annoying results (what with constant "dramatic" moments and lots of ominous Latin chanting. Sounds awful to someone who's grown up with actual Classical music).

I find though that all EB themes are good, even those more reminiscent of RTW vanilla (which, BTW, has interesting pieces as well).

The EB music really is awesome. I even grew like the Pontos/Hai/other eastern battle cacophony, heh.

EB music is really great the first 900 thousand times you listen to it. Won't comment on the 900,001st time onwards.

P.S. Long live Jeff van Dyck.
