Default Question about Multiplayer in the Peninsular Campaign

I don't play single player or the multiplayer campaign at all. So the only thing that interests me is multiplayer battles. Would anyone be kind enough to shed some light on what the DLC brings to multiplayer battles? People are being a bit vague and so is the DLC description.

    QUESTION TIME!

    • From what I can gather, Spain gain one lancer unit?
      1. What are their stats?
      2. What's their price?
      3. Is there a unit count restriction?

    • Spain get access to 6(?) gurilla units and can pick up to 3 of them which are able to be placed anywhere on the map at the start? (rifles, lights, line, light cav, lancers, mounted rifles?)
      1. Would anyone again be kind enough to provide their stats?
      2. And also their prices?

    • Does spain get any other unit fixes? Are their line the exact same as before? (almost the worst in the game... for shooting stats and no resistance to moral shock = chain route, even minor nations line are resistant to moral shock...)

    • Does spain get any other units?

    • France gets swiss guard or something (is that the name?)?
      1. yeah you guessed it stats please?
      2. and costs + are there any restrictions on how many?

    • Does anyone else get any other units at all?

Also if anyone has any videos of the units in action / screen shots of them ingame or their stats card i'd be most grateful!

    Thanks

    quick answers

1.) In MP, they get 1 of each new guerrillas unit, and all unit have been reworked/reskinned
1.3) 1 for each new guerrillas unit, Walloon guard (Elite)= 2, no restriction for other
    2.)yes
3.)guess not, their reload for most of them are still 35
4.)no more from what I have mentioned
5.)Swiss guard can now be recruit on MP, originally SP only (Like KGL,Polish legion)
6.)Nope for MP, lots of change in campaign though

ps. I think you don't need DLC to access these information go check it out, yourself
ps2. Brunswick Infantry still cant be recruit on MP though.

    Ah okay thank you.

You don't need the DLC to get access to Swiss foot it seems, which are capped at 4 and slightly worse than polish line. Walloon guard are accessible now too (or were they before?) And those lancers.

Spanish line are basically a deal breaker. They're pretty much high class militia who can form square. I'd say they're the worst line ingame and the cheapest. I wouldn't say you can do quantity over quality style armies with Spain, Prussia fills that gap a lot better. Because without resistance to moral shock and 6 moral all you've got is a chain rout waiting to happen...

So basically, the only thing the DLC brings to multiplayer battles is guerillas?

While I love that, I don't £6 love that. Oh well.

They were different unit, just simply called Guardias de Infanteria

I would also like to know the stats and abilities of the units for multiplayer battles please. I am currently in offline mode, have to wait till my bandwidth has been reset before I can go back to online mode, so I can't check anything out.

Here you go, I hope they're not too big for your bandwidth The Walloon guards get "inspire" everything else is regular ability wise. Obviously I don't have the DLC so I can't tell you about anything from that. Greedier reload times have been upped to "normal" on par with elites / line units -- They're still too pricey for what they are though considering how few men they have:

The Spanish line troops are not only the worst Line infantry in the game, they're also the only line infantry that isn't resistant to moral shock. Their stats are slightly above the "better" nations militia units, who also don't have moral shock.

So you're basically paying 300 gold more for Spanish line than militia units just so they can form square. Doesn't seem too cost effective. The core of your army needs to be dependable. Militia is not dependable. Also Spanish militia is hilarious too, 5 reload! Are they all taking siestas?

I'm going to look forward to everyone playing Spain. They can have fun with their little guerilla ambush play things. Then just target their general / Walloon guards and I will laugh manically as I chain rout army after army...
