Trick to avoid "auto spam units"

One turn you besiege a nearly empty cities.You happy to build some siege engines and wait next turn to storm the city.Then after that you see your advicer come and say "the citizen of ....." then you see the horde of the defender appear,sally out and crush your poor army!!

The way to avoid this is very simple.Just don't click in your advicer when she appear!!

If you switch the advisor off you won't get any of the scripted events.

^no, that comes from the campaign script. If you play macedon you get an angry horde as a neighbor.
