They are pathetic, they cant even give people who are forking out good money a release date. Shame on you CA!

oh no. not this again. CA did not ever say June 2010. They said SUMMER 2010. Steam cannot enter a season as a release date. So they entered the first month of summer.

And seeing as today is the first day of summer, CA has done nothing wrong. They probably don't even know when it will be out. DLC is like a patch. They will release it when it's finished.

How do you know this isn't CA's fault, and that they didn't set June 2010 as a release date for it?

I'm sorry, I really am, but I had to laugh to myself at the double standard in your comment.

How can it possibly be CA's fault if the PUBLISHER sets the release date?

Lets get our thinking caps on people, whether you like it or not, Steam chooses how they advertise their licenses. They've been given an outline, such as: 'Preorders may be allowed, content will arrive in summer'. Such an outline was not given by the development studio, it was given by the publisher.

Can we all try and remember that the Dev team are not responsible for the distribution and sale of their product, the publisher and their advertising contractors are.

Well firstly, there is already a thread about this on the front page, so this really is not necessary at all. Everything is explained already thoroughly in there.

looks like that guy went apes and on topic i do kind of hope that it will be out soon.

I think saying "June" was choosen because its the "first month of the Summer" is a bit pulling at straws. They could aswell have choosen July since June is all but finished and would have been closer to the mark if really June is a made up date to cover the whole of the Summer context. if, as Nizam´s picture shows. They are placed cronologicaly.

Personally I feel it must be this week for sure. The rest seems to me humbly as preventive fanboi damage control.
