IRAQ: 'CHILD' BOMBER DIES AS US MILITARY RAISES ALARM OVER ROADSIDE ATTACKS

Baghdad, 1 Nov. (AKI) - A child thought to be just ten years old, wearing an explosives belt, has died in a roadside explosion at the al-Quds intersection, near the oil rich city of Kirkuk. The 'suicide' attack occurred as a car carrying a senior Iraqi police official, Colonel Khatab, passed by. The official and his driver were wounded and are being treated in hospital. The report of such a young child being used for terror attacks comes as the US military issued a report showing how difficult it can be for its soldiers to prevent roadside bombs.

The report examined combat operations in and around Baghdad over a five day period. It notes that soldiers found several powerful roadside bombs hidden in two vehicles and also caught insurgents planting a bomb on a street and defused it. Seven American servicemen were also killed in two separate roadside attacks

In October, 93 American troops were reported killed, making it the fourth-deadliest month in the war for them. Iraqi civilian losses go mostly uncounted.

Military commanders in Iraq expect attacks by Sunni insurgents to intensify ahead of the 15 December parliamentary elections and warn that roadside bombs are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

Why are the US soldiers there in the first place ?
If you were 10 years old and have a bunch of brown guys (considering your white) invade your home what would you do ? Support it ?

the 10 year old wasn't sent to his doom as you guys presume. He may have wanted to go to his doom. And what caused this ? What cuased the 10 year old to be blown up or blow him self up ? The US presence. If the US were never there, this would have NEVER happened.

I seriously doubt that. I wonder what type of idiotic, careless parents turn over their kids to these people. What's even sadder about this whole suicide bombing thing is that the bombs mostly just kill civilians.

Well, I personally think there might be an element of both in it, but there's certainly something to the "personnel problem" aspect.

Who's to say he was 'turned over'. We have human trafficing problems of our own. Who's to say there isn't some of it going on in Iraq? Just playing devil's advocate, I have no idea either way.

I don't really buy that. It would be easier just to use dogs or something. Kids are not going to be that easy to control, unless you have brainwashed them I supposed.

Remember, they're just kids. Scare tactics probably work very easily on them. They don't know they're going to die . It's just sad.

After reading this story about a 10 year old terrorist bomber, i really get furious.
But i also start thinking , after hearing something like this i start thinking that these people are extreme fanatical realigious people that have extreme and neverending hate towards us.
They will stop at nothing to kill anyone of us.

But what im really thinking of is:

That we have to take a different approach concerning terrorism,
First off all , all the fanatical mosques in any western country must be closed, because many young/old muslims are being recruited there for the jihad.

What kind of people would use children as weapons? Those Mother ******* that would send children to die for their cause. They are cowards, cowards who would send people on suicide missions for themselves. They have barely an humanity left. If marytredom is so great why don't those sick cowards send themselves.
