    Default Installation Help

    I have just downloaded and installed Rome Total Realism Platinum v1.9, but am unable to play it.

    Is there something I'm missing? Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

    Welcome to the forums!

    Could you be a bit more specific? What do you see before the game crashes to desktop? Do you get an error message?

    In most of these cases it's due to BI not being patched to 1.6, so you could start with checking that.

    Thank you.

    When I tried to install the 1.6 patch, it said that it could not detect RTW-BI (or something to that degree) even though I did have the expansion pack installed.
