    Default Rebel loyalties

Everybody knows that if you're a faction like Macedon or Egypt etc. your cities can revolt and become rebels. But if you play as the rebels your cities cannot revolt because they already rebels. Now the question: Imagine the rebels cities are just like a faction like Macedon for example, shouldn't it be possible to make rebels loyal? Simply said: If a rebel city is unhappy, they can revolt to the city who's the most influential. So imagine a city like Bylazora revolted from Macedon to rebel, is it possible to edit the RTW files so Bylazora could revolt to the faction with the most influence say Dacia above it if the rebels are unhappy? Or a rebel city like Byzantium could revolt to Macedon or Thrace?

Hmm... that certainly sounds like an interesting idea...
I don't know anything about modding though, so I can't say if it's possible or not.

I know it can happen with BI, but that may only be the Roman Rebels turning good, because occasionally a Roman Rebel city will revolt and return to it's original faction.

I have experienced Romans turning rebels in Barbarian invasion of course, but I have never exoerienced that in Rome vanilla or in any of the mods. Does that really happen anyone?

i've seen sassinid (spelling?) cities revolt and become mine as the ERE, so something like that is defenitly possible in BI, although to what extent im not sure as i have only ever seen it once.

So it can be possible! Does somebody knows how to edit the files so you can decide what city can rebel to what faction? And is it even possible to let rebels rebel to another faction?

It is not possible. The revolts the game allows are to the rebels, the previous owner, the settlement creator and your factions corresponding rebel faction if your faction uses loyalty.

Simple there's no way to revolt to anything other than what I've listed above, including but not limited to "influential" cities. Also the rebels behave oddly and probably wouldn't support revolting anyways.

if its possible in BI then it should also be a possibility in ALX... i seem to remember faction-to-otherfaction rebellion in an ALX mod...

Faction to a specific faction listed in descr_sm_factions (that's the loyalty option I mention) but not to whichever faction is currently the most influential.

No, it isn't possible for any expansion of RTW.

No I know now that the "influention" option is not availlable, but is the "spawning" option (such as the roman rebels become their own faction) or the ostrogoths come from the goths or a sassanid city revolting and becoming ERE in BI also availlable to RTW?

Yes, but that requires you to remove one other faction for each rebel one you introduce.

Yes but if you read carefully you'll see that I said: a Sassanid revolting settlement becoming ERE property. Because I believe i've seen that before.
