Summer concerts.

Summer is here and a number of bands are touring. Who are you going to see this summer?

Me: Rush and Iron Maiden. Both in Chicago.

Eagles. But I have to wait until October.

We could count october I guess, lol.

a lack of money and time caused my lack of summer festivaltickets, though i might get a combiticket so I can see Mumford & Sons, the National, Customs and some others...

I just saw Iron Maiden last night. I was rather disappointed that they didn't play many of their classic tracks (The Trooper, Mother Russia, Run to the Hills, Aces High etc), but their show still rocked.

I think its because their previous tour they played all their classic songs, usually they mix things up with their tours like that.

Am mad I didn't get a chance to see them in 2009, but it was impossible for me to go then.

Going to flow http://www.flowfestival.com/en/artists/ it is a bit of a dissapointment, the xx being the only band that I am very excited about.

Last year they had vampire weekend amongst others, shame I didn't go then

Kele ( lead singer of bloc party, tyouring a solo album), Interpol, Gorillaz and Carl Barat.

And end of august I'm going to Leeds Festival, awesome line up this year, Arcade Fire, Libertines, GnR, Klaxons, Pendulum, Blink, Cribs, Queens of the stoneage, LCD Soundsystem etc

I wouldn't mind seeing GnR or Queens of the Stoneage.

Do they charge you for just the festival? Usually around where I lived if you went to something like Milwaukee Fest all the bands that have a huge fanbase you would have to pay for separate to see them in some arena.

Nah just the festival, free camping with weekend ticket.

Probably going to pukkelpop: Iron maiden, bloody beatroots, the Prodigy, Pendulum, Blink 182, yes please

Saw Rammstein, Megadeth, Motorhead and Soulfy last month. Probably going to see Peter Murphy next month, possibly pearl Jam and more.

To anyone that has an opportunity to see this Rammstein tour do it! Amazing show.
