Constant CTD

This has always happened with the 7.0 version. If someone could find me a link to the download for 6.4 then thank you.

Anyway, ever since the release of 7.0, it's always CTD'd whenever I tried to start a new campaign. I click continue after selecting a faction and it just says that Rome: Total War stopped working. I never had this problem with any versions before. So if any of you can help me find a fix or link me to a 6.4 download, much appreciated.

Did you play any other mods before playing SPQR?

Are you using a crack?

I have played other mods, and I'm not using a crack. I have RTW Gold edition. I'm going to try uninstalling everything and re installing.

Okay.
I reinstalled. And still CTD. I have no idea what could be causing it. Anyone else with similar problems offer some help?

I have only had one CTD so far but i have RTW and no expantion packs installed, RTW Gold includes Alaxander i believe, that might be the problem, not sure though.

No Alexander, just BI.

Maybe its BI then, a conflict or something, Here in the UK the Gold version has Alaxander not BI.

I have the UK version, I never got Alexander with it.

Same thing has been happening with me. Everytime I try to start a campaign or do anything that leads away from the main screen it just ctds.

Right, what system you on? and sorry if I missed, have you tried totally clean installation into new folder with newly downloaded mod? Most of the problems and solutions can be found in my signature link really. But we are willing to face new challenges!

I had the same problem i downloaded Microsoft Visual J# Version 2.0 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4 and that fixed it for me.

Might be helpful. I experience crashes only randomly on most unexpected occasions, this never happened to me.
Complete total fresh new install into another folder as per my signature way says it all and might help

Hey Bias, if you have BI currently installed at the same time as this when you are trying SPQR, you have to have a clean Rome without BI. I had that problem. If you haven't, try a complete reinstall with only vanilla Rome, then add the SPQR.
