    However now this version is final, expect no more changes (at least for this version). It is implemented in game with coding and all, it will be the part of the upcoming version 0.3 Evil Reskin. I need to finish the rest too.

    I'm sorry Berserker1 but I will not make any unit stronger. There are some balance issues here and there but I don not think it is major. You can definitely win with Isengard on all difficulties. I hate how some other submods are doing all the stat buffing. 'I like elves (or whatever else) so let's increase all their stats because <insert random lore reason>'. Besides Ugluk is the man... he doesn't need good stats to pillage the village. ^^

    I trust the developer team with balance, I just want to do skins.

    Ugluks death has more to do with the fact, that cavalry where charging on both sides... With my submod, cavalry have powerful charges (more to do with increase mass, no files edited). Apparenly ugluk has the getting ran over by cavalry on both sides curse...

    You should check out my submod, all factions are given credit where it is due. Though since my name is berserker, I did favor the berserkers a bit, but I made sure it was all reasonable

    Besides that, every time I copy these files to my data file, I get this error with warriors of pennith gilath, where their models are "missing."

    well you are either using some parts of the old sgwara submod, which has warriors of pinnath gelin, or you are using some parts of rc/rr which also uses warriors of pinnath gelin. those are the only mods out(im pretty sure) that use sgawara's warriors of pinnath gelin unit.

    The king looks great but the two swords don't look good in when he is mounted, maybe one big sword?

    It's a matter of taste really. Animations don't look too great when mounted in general I guess. I really wanted dual swords so I will keep this.

    I have to agree that two swords is strange.. i have never seen an warrior fight with two swords while sitting on a horse, it's better to either have a general on foot with 2 swords, or a mounted general with a sword and shield

    but of course that's up to you great work so far +rep

    Ok I have finished the new Ugluk too. You won't see half the work on this model from just a screenshot but I guess I cannot show it otherwise:




    You may think it's a lot like the old one but this model is completely new. It's literally been rebuilt from scratch from many existing Third Age models (done by KK). I have fixed loads of clipping issues around the neck and fixed his hair too.

    I have removed the white hand for Louis ^^.

    About 0.3 version. Now that Third Age Total War 2.0 is announced 0.3 will be 2.0 compatible.

    The new features will be:
    Ugluk - reworked model and textures - done
    Khuzaymah - new model and textures - done
    Warg - reworked model and textures - in progress
    Goblin faction leader - new model and textures - in progress

    With this all evil factions will have at least one unique hero with the exception of Rhun and Gundabad. The permission for editing Rhun models is not given to anyone and for Gundabad we need to play 2.0 first to decide a hero.

    That's it guys, hope you will like it.

    On a side note I also plan to release compatibility versions for RR/RC and Middle Earth Enhanced if I get the permissions to do so. With this you would not need to manually add the new units and such I will make.

    Yey, thanks! I'm glad you like it. I really wanted to do justice to Ugluk cause he is my favorite evil hero. Even his small parts in the movie were great. When he looks through those orcs and instructs them about how much he cares about their master.

    Bah now just these wargs... I want them to be so much better. I hope I can get it right.

    It's PERFECT!!!

    As for the serpent king if you wish him to have dual weapons then I would suggest dismounting him and giving him a bad-ass bodyguard, maybe half-trolls or something.

    Can you edit the Uruk reavers so that they have a sword? of can you give a unit two different weapons? so that if you have 20 uruk reavers, that 10 have a uruk sword and the other 10 a axe or something?
    because if you give them a uruk sword, they look like the Uruk scouts from the fellowship of the ring.

    They are classed as spearmen aren't they? They would have spear animation with a sword and that would look weird. Can anyone confirm this?

    About the Harad king. Alright, I'm not going to ignore everyone requesting him to be on foot. I will work out something for you guys.

    Actually, I don't want to complicate things, but surely, if he is the leader of Harad, shouldn't he be on a Mumak?
    I mean, almost indian leaders went to war on elephants, and many Persian leaders as well. It makes sense that the greatest leader should go to war mounted on the greatest beast there is available! In the books, a haradrim leader is mentioned on a mumakil!

    Yeah Ozzmosis. You are correct about that, but it would be massively imbalanaced to have Mumakil right at the start of the game. I will try to get him a special bodyguard unit with compareable stats to other hero's special bodyguard. Don't worry he will not be easy to take down.

    Spearmen? i thougt they were just axemen.

    Who said you cannot increase the weapon size? Oh well... he was wrong anyway. I increased it by at least 3 times.
    I've tested it in many ways and no errors at all.
    I also reworked the helmet. Enjoy. I really wish I could show a video to you guys. This is f*ing amazing.

    Actually you need to look in the modeldb file to see their animation. Reavers have a twohanded axe animation, which would not work with a sword. In one unit, all soldiers have the same animation (except for officers and captains). If you want reavers with swords you have to make them an entirely new unit:
    Edit the model of the reavers to remove axe and add the sword, and then save it as a new model, and give it a new entry in the modeldb, giving it a sword animation (1 or 2 handed) and a new EDU entry.

    We already discussed the whole getting rid of the clone wars concept. Sometimes it makes sense, but when the units do not wear helmets, and are not supposed to have standard weapons... What we really need to do is make the Uruks use raiders as guards, instead of spearmen. Ugluk had raider type infantry, he did not have spearorcs.
