    Don't worry mate. I reinstall from scratch often. It takes no more time then testing a unit for example. I will also start playing with Louis Lux's awesome Middle Earth Enchanted. There are some of my skins featured in there but I will make my whole mode compatible. In the future I will make 2 releases most likely. One for clean Third Age: Total War and one for Middle Earth Enchanted.

    An RC/RR version wouldn't be a bad idea either, seeing as how a pretty large chunk of TATW players use it and it already has the Middle Earth Enchanted submod included in it. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if PB would want to use your skins in a future RC/RR update. This definitely has the appropriate quality to be included in RC/RR IMO.

    Clearly has his priorities straight.

    Lurtz wasnt in Descr_strat, ive copied your text and copied into descr. stat. lets see of it works now.

    well ive added him, and now when i start a campaign tatw chrashes. --'
    any solution, except reinstalling?

    I have downloaded my own mod from here:

    I open the file data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt
    And I can see Lurtz in it:

    character Lurtz, named character, male, heir, age 25, x 159, y 207, portrait Lurtz, battle_model lurtz ;dunland hills
    traits FactionheirTO 1, LoyaltyStarter 1 , GoodCommander 2 , Austere 1 , PublicFaith 1 , ReligionStarter 1 , StrategyDread 1 , CaptorDread 1 , NightBattleCapable 1, Bloodthirsty 1
    ancillaries saruman

    Please download it and install. You have crash on campaign because you need a lot more then just this for Lurtz to work.

    You need to edit the following files to add my submod:

    You have only edited ONE out of this so you can hardly call it an RC conversion. I appreciate what you try to do but you are quite far from what needs to be done for my mod to work properly. Posts like you made above will confuse people into thinking you have done a full conversion.

    EDIT: I have reinstalled everything, even medieval total war with the expansion. Then I downloaded my mod from this link and Lurtz is working along with everything else. Please download my mod again and overwrite all your old files with it. It will work it's 100%.

    It is still useful, if you want to get the other units without having to manually put each unit in.

    Yep it's useful probably, I have no ways to test it so everyone may use it only on their own risk.

    I'm taking a little break of Evil Reskin. During the downtime I was working on other projects mainly. I still have a half done Warg and I have plans for the Mumakil but you guys will have to wait for a while before that.

    I have uploaded the submod on my own forum too in case of TWC problems in the future.
    (I guess there won't be but anyway.)

    Ive installed it again Brevi, from the new link and it still crashes. wich directory must i install it?
    i just install it in Third Age/Data.
    is that wrong?

    It's not wrong. However you must have a clean 1.4.1 installation with no submods or manual modifications. Then copy the contents of my Data folder to your Third Age/Data folder and overwrite.

    I know this might sound disappointing at first... but if you are experiencing problems you should simply delete your TATW folder and reinstall it. It takes me usually like 15 minutes only... and then you have a fully clean install. No risks of it being broken.

    Hmm, then i first must download all the patches again. wich takes some time.

    i think i just wait for the 2.0, it wont be long for it will be released soon i think.
    wil your work inplanted to 2.0?

    Ah that's a good question. Well I have no confirmed information about this so I wouldn't really expect it. It's a possibility that a few skins will be in... maybe none. I don't know.

    Yes, my TA:TW install is working again, now lets install EFR 0.3.1, see if its works now.

    Edit: Fine vacation everyone! Is it also very hot in your country? In the Netherlands is tropical, kinda 35 degrees.

    Edit2: Brevi, Are you gonna Rework The Mumakils, I read it in your post on page 14 of 15. it would be nice, you are a great modder so.

    Yey. I'm glad it works. You will also find that Lurtz's bodyguards are badass when it comes to fighting.
    The Mumakils will definitely come. Just need some more time.

    Im also glad it works haha!

    Your work must be in 2.0, it would be epic to battle at Amon hen against those raiders and archers, and your Lurtz, In the Fellowship campaign.
    Those Bodyguards are great, they have attack & missile so they can figth melee AND missile.
    Great job.

    Edit: Yeah, just fougth with Lurtz and his bodyguards against 2 units of Eorling swordsmen, they killed 25% with arrows and killed & routed the rest with their swords.
    and just losing 3 uruks, they are really strong.

    Hi Brevi excellent work on the reskins could I make a suggestion about reskinning the Orcs Of Gundabad & making them look different to the other orc factions maybe give them a grey or white leather texture

    Hello all!

    I've decided to put my little submod project on hold. It's been great time skinning and taking place in the community here, but for now I lost the mood for Third Age. I usually move often between games. I will keep checking the boards often so if someone decides to use my skins in his submod, then please PM me for permission. If I don't reply within 2 weeks take it as a yes, but I will don't worry.

    Nope, its bad it isnt, his units are great, those raiders, and that sort of stuff, i hope he will make it for 2.1 when he plays TA:TW again.

    Well if he doesn't our mod has the rights to use his units so we will surely have them.
